Good morning, My family bought a house on Highland Lake a couple of weeks ago and I’ve been meaning to send you a note of thanks. We attended your lake house buying seminar this year and the most valuable thing we learned was to write a personal letter to the seller.  I remember writing down “tug at heartstrings” and we had a story that would do just that. A $3 Etsy letter template and our story got us this house. The sellers didn’t even show it to anyone else, even though they had a full slate of bookings to show it. They took our offer of $100 over asking price. So, thank you for that invaluable tip. I’ve attached the letter below in case you want to see it. Also, I needed to write to sing Ed Richman’s praises. First of all, what a great guy. Secondly, he’s an awesome agent. He walked us through the whole process step by step and went above and beyond when dealing with a challenging issue with the bank.  I cannot say enough good things about him.  I know this is just his retirement gig, but for your sake, I hope he doesn’t truly retire anytime soon!
