BEFORE WE MET GUY:We had just experienced a very bad 1st time home buyers, complete process, 3-4 weeks prior. We LOST the opportunity to use USDA funding and receiving the $8,000 first time home buyers tax credit. At the time, our unseasoned Realtor, did not have the appropriate negotiating skills to deal with foreclosure home banks.

Then we met Guy Shipley. He found us homes in our price range, and he was very honest with us about how to go about process. He did NOT make us feel uncomfortable or that he was trying to lie to us about anything, during the entire process. Looking for a vacation/retirement home and found some of Guy's listings and called for an appointment for when we'd be in the area and we even explained that we weren't ready to buy until the following year. Guy was extremely responsive, very personable and not at all pushy. He stayed within our price range, showed us many neighborhoods we weren't even aware of, and listened to what we wanted. Is a particular style house or neighborhood didn't end up to our liking, he re-routed his list to find just what we liked. We are going back in about 5 weeks to do some final looking and wouldn't think of asking anyone else to help us, and i have already recommended him to another family member when she is ready to relocate their too.
